FLOWERS OF EVLI

In 2010 I made the third leather dress covered up with flowers -'Flowers of Evil' which was inspired by Charles Bodler poetry. Currently the dress is placed in Tbilisi museum as one of the items of the permanent exhibition. I applied 'evil flowers' as a metaphor for illusory and wicked aspects of life which we as humans are supposed to eradicate in order to illuminate the truth and the inherent goodness of existence. Through materiality of this sculptural dress i extended a fascinating invitation into darker aspects of life only to honor ageless human spirit love and kindness.
